The storm is never as devastating as it seems. Yes, the problems of life come indiscriminately. Yes, the we can't always steer clear of the heavy rain; however, there is a peace that passes all understand, which will keep your heart and mind through the infinite; through God.
When you're criticized and judged; hurt and heartbroken; tried and in agony. When you're in pain beyond comprehension and there is no comforting shoulder to cry on. When the enemy comes in like a flood and your heart feels heavy. When theses things confront you then… (in that very second) BE STILL. Don't communicate with these unhappy things, don't acknowledge them. Feel the life inside you and the power that you'll gain subsequently when you discover, without fail, that 'this too shall pass.'
Stay conscious in these moments. Be aware of the storm but don't acknowledge it. Acknowledgment means, 'to recognize or admit the existence, rights, or authority of somebody or something.' This is not your purpose but your purpose is to be aware. Awareness is being 'mindful that something exists because you notice it or realize that it is happening.' Authority is given in acknowledgment; power is received in awareness.
The valley isn't the worst place to be. Valleys are a locality between mountains, meaning, you can't look towards the hills from which comes your help. Guess where you help comes from?
When the storms of life are raging in your life and sometimes it's hard to tell the night from day. When it arrives then be aware this is what is; close your eyes and feel the life inside you. That life is the Spirit of God and is that same spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead.
When the storm comes… don't communicate with it… feel the life inside you… connect with it… let your soul speak this word…
This too shall pass!
